Join us from October 17 through November 1 for Halloween-themed activities!
Halloween activities at the Zoo
Strange things are happening at the Zoo this Halloween… Follow the clues on a spooky scavenger hunt!
Join us in the conservation area from 11 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. for Halloween face painting, with a minimum donation of €2 to support conservation!
Craving a treat? Enjoy a selection of Halloween-themed sweets, too.
Throughout the day, stop by our arachnid discovery station (spiders, scorpions, and more) and see these fascinating animals in a whole new light.
During your visit, don’t miss the “Les animaux de la peur” keeper talks and feedings featuring spotted hyenas, Arctic wolves, fossas and many other species, alongside our education team.
New this year: the vulture feeding! Catch this event at 3 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during fall school break, and discover how these fascinating birds behave at mealtime.
Join our education team at the vivarium at 11:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. for a hands-on reptile experience with items you can touch.
Nocturne & Luminescences Evening
Saturday, October 31, join us for a spooktacular Halloween evening!
Zoo hours: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Nocturne Luminescences: until 10 p.m.
Ticket booth hours:
- Zoo: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Nocturne: 7 to 9 p.m.
For daytime visitors:
No need to leave the zoo!
When the zoo closes at 5:30 p.m., head to the Jungle food and drink area, next to the vivarium and Gorilla House.
Relax there with music and grab a bite or a drink before the festivities begin.
At 5:45 p.m., it’s time for the Parade de l’Horreur: an Halloween-themed show featuring dancers and singers.
Then, the Luminescences trail opens at 6:00 p.m.
For evening-only visitors:
Entry begins at 7:00 p.m. at the ticket booths.
The Parade de l’Horreur returns at 7:30 p.m. for a second performance, so evening-only visitors can enjoy the show too, before and during their visit to the Luminescences trail.
This schedule gives daytime visitors early access to Luminescences while limiting the number of guests on the trail at one time, making the experience smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.
Please note:
The parade will make appearances throughout the evening at several key spots along the Luminescences trail, until around 8:30–8:45 p.m.
The evening event (starting at 5:30 p.m. for daytime visitors and 7:00 p.m. for evening-only visitors) takes place exclusively on the Luminescences trail, so no animals will be on view.
It’s the perfect chance to discover or rediscover the new edition of “Le monde est une fête”, in a magical, colorful setting !
Good news:
- Admission to the evening event is included with your zoo ticket for the day.
- And it’s free for annual pass holders !
