Birth of a second rhinoceros: Cera

On January 18, 2022, our rhinoceros Yoruba gave birth to a little female. We are happy to introduce Cera, a healthy little rhinoceros who sticks very close to her mother.

YORUBA, THE MOTHER

Yoruba is 15 years old. It is the second time she has been a mother. In 2016, she gave birth to Bayami, also a female, who is now in England at Knowsley safari park near Liverpool.

Yoruba is a very protective mother toward her little one and takes perfect care of her.
