Just like the stegosaurus, the Tuojiangosaurus has armor to defend itself from predators with 2 rows of spikes along its back. There were also 4 long spines at the end of its tail. It was part of the group of stegosaurs, a group of dinosaurs possessing bony plates on their backs. Its name means reptile from the Tuo river.
