Visitors to the Saarlandhalle will find out all about the mysterious inner lives of animals on over 2,500 m² of floor space. How many cervical vertebrae does a giraffe have? Does a frog hide a skeleton? Why does a gorilla eat 30 kg of greenery a day?
Set off on an unforgettable expedition with over 120 fascinating pieces – from tiny mice to 6-meter-tall elephants. An adventurous journey that shows without detour, what makes animals live and breathe, run and swim, fly and smell.
A visit to “The body world of animals” is in every case a unique learning experience and sharpens the sense of observation, the sense of our nature and its threatened biodiversity.
